What is our primary function?
Our ministries main focus is to serve and protect the members of St. Paul Baptist Church. We focus on the safety of anyone attending our church service, meetings and rehearsals. We do this by surveillance as well as making our presence known by doing spot checks on the church’s premises.

Our ministry serves St. Paul by allowing our members to feel safe in their environment while enjoying their activities.
How does our ministry serve the Kingdom?
We believe that it is God’s work to protect those who come to worship in the house of the Lord at all times. The Bible says that one should watch as well as pray. And by serving our church we are indirectly serving the Lord and his kingdom.
What is expected of those who join this ministry?
In this ministry commitment and dedication are key to our success. You must be willing to sacrifice the time during church service as well as some monthly or weekly gatherings. Communication to servant leaders is important involving attendance and availability.
What can you expect from this ministry?
Those who join and show commitment will surely be blessed by the appreciation shown to them by their fellow members. As a member of the security ministry you will undoubtedly obtain a sense of gratification for being a part of a dedicated unit that serves others.
When do we meet?
We generally meet every 6 to 8 weeks mostly after church service on Sundays. These security meetings last anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes in the lower part of the church. In these meetings we discuss any weaknesses as well as our strengths as a unit.
What type of person should consider joining this ministry?
You should only consider this ministry if you are willing to work as a team or sometimes individually for a common cause. This person undoubtedly should be someone who puts others first and has a deep concern for the health and welfare of their church members.
How does this ministry incorporate Bible Study and Prayer?
At this time we are a relatively new ministry. We are still looking to incorporate biblical study as well as prayers which correspond to our duties. This will allow us to look to Scripture for guidance and protection.
