Matthew 27:20 states, “And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.” Ministry or service to God’s people is essential to the growth and development of the mature believer. It is my prayer and my desire that through the sharing of this booklet and through prayer, you will find your place of service through ministry.
Every person has a calling from God and the best way to respond to God’s call is when we let God serve others through us. This is ministry and Jesus demonstrated ministry or service throughout his entire life. Ephesians 4:11-12 says, “and he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
In order for ministry to work at its highest and its best, we need you. Therefore, I challenge you to find your place of service, allow the Lord to use you for his glory, and through service to his people. May our Lord and Savior allow his Kingdom and the love of God to expand.
May the Lord richly bless you!
